Since the beginning of time, or at least as long as most of us can remember, dogs have shared their lives with us. They protect our homes, take us for walks, and some lucky dogs warm our beds. But most importantly they live in our hearts. It is an ancient bond so strong that dogs are often called "man's best friend."

Dog's Best Friend is a warmhearted documentary that explores the passion, the respect and the incredible need people have for their dogs. We will meet Echo, the hero dog—Fudgie and Todd, members of The Biscuit Bunch—Baily, who's age in dog years is a mystery—Bambi, the best judge of a potential boy friend—Tootsie, the dog with the cleanest teeth in town—Madeline, who inspires her mistress' muse, and the 72 dogs who charmed their way into the home of a couple in New Mexico.
