This video shows children and early adolescents struggling with learning problems and explores a systematic process for understanding and managing a student’s learning strengths and weaknesses with a focus on ways in which teachers can help their students be more successful at learning. Viewers will gain insights into five areas of Management by Profile: demystification, accommodations, interventions at the breakdown points, strengthening of strengths and protection from humiliation. Viewers will also see parents, educators and students collaborate to gather information and develop an educational plan to address differences in learning.
