This footage was originally aired nationwide on PBS to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of Doo Wop. From The Platters to the Cleftones to the Flamingos, DOO WOP 50 brings back the greatest artists to perform their most memorable hits once more. Filmed live at Pittsburgh's Benedum Center for the Performing Arts, this celebratory two-evening gala was hosted by singer Jerry Butler.
